I had an accounting for an estate filing that I had to get to the Fairfax County Commissioner of Accounts in 2 days and put out an Ad on Craigslist to see if I could find someone that was convenient to me. I had an overwhelming response but when I spoke to Kendra and reviewed her credentials she seemed a perfect fit so I made an appointment to meet with her for her next available business day.
She sat me down in her office and we reviewed the requirements to be input into Quickbooks 2012 and this went very smoothly. She was able to tell me with certainty how much effort would be required and even accommodated my urgent needs by working into the night and rescheduling her other recurring duties!
I came back the next afternoon and it was 99% done with only a few conflicts that she presented me with. We worked out the final details and updated the company file and I was on my way.
After taking her work to my accountant for review and to transfer the summary figures into the filing form there were almost no issues with her expedited work. Today I filed the form and the summary data for review and with only enough time before my deadline.
Granted this was my first experience using a bookkeeping service I was very impressed by her professionalism and enthusiasm and would recommend her for anyone’s Estate accounting needs. Above all, in this case, her efficiency, communication, and understanding of the requirements are what pulled me through this ordeal. I plan on working with her for the second accounting which is due in January.
